Emergency Medical Technician (Emt)

DEPCOM Power is looking for a Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to be the first responders to all emergency and non-emergency construction site incidents and administer first-aid care in accordance with state, local, and national guidelines. In addition to the following, you will have the opportunity to start a career in safety by learning OSHA rules and regulations, state and local laws, and company policies.

This role will be located at a construction site anywhere in the U.S.

What You Will Do

• Respond to calls for assistance.
• Administer first aid care per state, local, and national guidelines.
• Properly assess injuries and coordinate for appropriate transportation to medical facilities.
• Effectively communicate with Safety Managers, EMS Personnel, and Medical Facility Staff
• Assist site Safety Personnel with safety-related duties and inspections.
• Provide detailed documentation of medical and safety-related incidents
• Coordinate with Safety Managers in maintaining the safest and secure construction site environment.
• Additional duties as directed.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Current CPR or BLS (Basic Life Support) or equivalent credential
• State Certification for EMT or Paramedic or National EMT certification, (NREMT)
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent communication skills

What Will Put You Ahead

• Prior experience with Site Safety
• Construction industry experience
