Summary:

Seeking dedicated individuals to fill the role of Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) responsible for responding to emergency situations and providing skilled emergency and non-emergency services. Join a team committed to quality improvement, public education, and recruitment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer basic life support in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
• Safely operate emergency ambulances and respond to emergency and non-emergency transports.
• Attend classes to stay current with Emergency Medical services practices.
• Assist in the rescue and extrication of victims using proper techniques.
• Communicate effectively with medical personnel and treatment facilities.
• Respond to emergency calls promptly, providing high-quality patient care.
• Complete vehicle check sheets and ensure vehicles are stocked and ready for response.

Education/Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of EMT-B or EMT-A certification in the State of Ohio.
• Maintain CME responsibilities per State Guidelines, including BLS, ACLS, PALS, ASLS, CPR, ITLS or PHTLS certifications.
• Certified Emergency Vehicle Operator certification.
• Must be 23 years of age or older to drive Emergency Medical vehicles.

Additional Info:

• EMT-B position: $16/hr - $22/hr
• EMT-A position: $15/hr - $17.50/hr
