Form of workDetroit-based contract security providerCity Shield Security Servicesis currently hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to work at an account in Detroit. Applicants must be certified EMTs and provide proof of a current license. Job duties will entail responding to accidents and medical calls on the footprint and communicating with out team and client.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Provide first-aid treatment, such as bandaging wounds.
- Provide life support care, such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), when needed.
- Assess a patient's conditions and provide initial treatment.
- Determine whether a patient needs to go to an ER or a trauma center.
- Communicate with other emergency services, such as firefighters and police officers, to respond to calls for help.

Requirements:
- Must have a current/valid EMT license registered with the State of Michigan.
- Must be 18+ years old and able to pass a state and national background check.
