LMI is seeking an Emergency Management Subject Matter Expert to support efforts for a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) client. The ideal candidate has over 15 years of experience supporting crisis and disater management efforts at local, federal and/or international levels. This position requires the ability to pass a government background investigation to obtain DHS Suitability.

Provide dynamic mission and Subject Matter Expertise to support Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) policy and strategic efforts.
Required:
- A minimum of 15 years of crisis management and disaster field leadership
- Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) certification
- Experience developing and implrementing policy to field operations
- Broad Emergency Management experience at local and federal level managing incidents
- Demonstrated experience supporting incidents of national significance for various types of natural and man-made crisis
- Ability to pass DHS background investigation
Desired:
- Experience in both U.S. and international disaster and/or Emergency Management
- Demonstrated experience working successfully in a dynamic and evolving policy and stakeholder environment
