How You Will Contribute:
Soldering Expertise: Utilize soldering skills for the assembly of electronic components and contribute to the soldering process as required for aerospace sensors.
Process Development: Actively participate in developing, implementing, and applying processes (assembly and test) for mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic instruments.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Interface directly with Design, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering, contributing to the development and documentation of new products, associated processes, fixtures, tooling, and equipment.
Qualification and First Build: Capable of building qualification and first build products from sketches and detailed work instruction documentation. Execute manufacturing operations based on verbal instructions, engineering drawings, and other relevant standards.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively support opportunities to enhance manufacturing processes, fixtures, tooling, and equipment. Collaborate with engineering teams on process improvement initiatives, utilizing tools such as six sigma, lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and others.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
High School Diploma
Soldering Experience: Demonstrated expertise in soldering electronic components.
Additional Requirements:
Due to contracts with the United States Government, candidates must be a US citizen or Green Card holder.
