Elevator Mechanic Assistant

Crown Elevator & Lift Company is a rapidly growing residential elevator & lift installation and service company looking for motivated applicants who want a rewarding career as an Elevator Mechanic. We offer on the job training beginning as an Elevator Mechanic Assistant.

Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

• Assist lead installer or technician in the delivery, installation, troubleshooting and repair of various types of elevators and lifts in residential homes.
• Communicate and work closely with lead technician, lead installer and main office.
• Maintain tools necessary for this trade.
• Ability to follow direction as well as work independently.
• Communicate and interact with builders and customers.

Qualifications:

• Enjoy working with your hands.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.
• Comfortable on a construction site.
• Must not be afraid of heights and should be comfortable climbing ladders and stairs.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Find satisfaction in solving mechanical problems.
• Demonstrate the desire to learn.
• Familiar with construction or electrical a plus.

Hours: 7 am - 3:30 pm

Monday - Friday (opportunities to work Saturdays)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
