Shu Ren is hiring an a PYP Elementary School Teacher to cover a Maternity Leave beginning in April, 2024 and extending through the remainder of the school year.
YOUR ROLE AS A PYP ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHER
As a Shu Ren English Elementary School Teacher you will create an inquiry-based, intellectually stimulating, and nurturing learning environment for students while providing supportive feedback and ongoing communication with families, colleagues and supervisors.

- You love to develop creative and age appropriate learning activities based on students’ interests through IB PYP curriculum
- You have a strong commitment to bilingual language immersion education
- You seek to connect with and support a diverse community of students, families, and colleagues
- You excel at keeping up-to-date, student assessment data and have the ability to communicate both orally and in writing with parents about their student’s learning and development
- You enjoy working collaboratively with other teachers to develop curriculum, as well as plan for and manage school-wide events
- You are reflective of your teaching practice and are excited to grow and learn through professional development opportunities

Requirements:- Full professional fluency in English
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Education, Elementary Education or a related field, Master’s degree preferred
- At least two years of teaching experience in an Elementary School
- Experience with teaching the IB PYP curriculum preferred
