POSITION: Elementary Music Teacher
SALARY RANGE: Licensed Staff Salary Schedule plus School District Comprehensive Benefits Package. We accept up to thirty years of experience. Salary Range of $45,000 - $97,088 (this is based on 23-24 salary schedule, 24-25 salary schedule will be used for final offer) depending on experience and education with additional opportunities for tuition reimbursement.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION:
- Minimum B. A. in Music Education with background in general and instrumental music
- Hold or be able to obtain a Colorado Teachers' License from Colorado Department of Education.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Colorado music standards and assessments K - 5
- Experience in building and sustaining a quality band and general music program preferred
- Demonstrated ability to ensure student academic success/experience in Elementary and Middle School Education preferred.
- Strong background in integrating the teaching of reading and writing and problem solving skills with music education.
- Computer and Technology skills preferred.
- Able to work as a team member, experienced in middle level teaming.
- Experience working with diverse populations and second language learners preferred.
- Coaching available.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Assignment starting date is 07/31/2024.
- All contracts/agreements for employment of personnel shall be subject to the approval of the BOE.
- Direct deposit of payroll is a condition of employment.
- No smoking is allowed in any Weld County School District Re 8 buildings.
