Summary:
- Assists physicians in diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias.
- Performs delegated duties in support of the Electrophysiology Lab.
- Perform pediatric, adolescent and adult diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures.
- Function independently as an expert technologist in EP who is a highly competent and clinically skilled member of the Heart and Vascular Care Procedure Center patient care team. In addition to assisting the EP physicians with the most complex procedures, you'll oversee the technical operations required for the performance of routine diagnostic through the advanced interventional electrophysiology procedures.
- Be an expert in EP based on their knowledge, clinical and technical skill level and ability to educate and train staff within the department.
- Associates degree or equivalent in health, science, nursing, engineering
- Two years experience working in an EP Lab OR
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required and ACLS certification
- Currently registered with MA Board of Medical Technicians
