Job Summary:
As a Cardiovascular Tech in our Cath Lab, you will play a critical role in assisting the medical team during interventional cardiac procedures. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing and maintaining equipment, monitoring patients, and providing essential support to ensure safe and efficient catheterization procedures. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the successful diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular patients.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain catheterization equipment and supplies.
• Assist in the setup and preparation of the Cath Lab for procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and provide assistance as needed during procedures.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Document patient information and procedure details accurately.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
• Assist in post-procedure patient care and recovery.
• Participate in continuous learning and training to stay updated on the latest techniques and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Must be registered as a Registered Technologist / Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist with either ARRT or CCI
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required through either American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and procedures.
