Electronics Test Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTIONSkiltrek is seeking a Electronics Test Engineer to sit in Cincinnati, OH. This company supports large-scale Department of Defense contracts specific to space and aircraft sensors with the manufacturing of complex systems. The client does about $18 billion in annual revenue and has around 47,000 employees, with customers in more than 100 countries. This specific division, headquartered in Mason, Ohio, designs, develops, and manufactures complex systems (electronic, avionics, transceivers, transmitters, electro-optical, and electro-mechanical) for the defense, aerospace, and commercial markets. This client is a lead in Electro-Optical technologies that enable systems to support surveillance, reconnaissance, threat detection, and self-protection missions. As an Electronics Test Engineer, you will design, develop, integrate, test, deliver and support automated test sets used for testing deliverable electronic hardware. A final test set includes test software, hardware, rack with equipment, test cables and all associated drawings. The understanding of program-level objectives, system concept of operation, and product architectures to determine/develop system requirements is also a very important part of this role. The Engineer will also perform test data reduction, analysis and test reporting to analyze failure data for trends, systemic issues and reduction/elimination of test escapements. This team supports multiple programs and projects across various disciplines so the ability to work in a collaborative environment is a must.REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCEB.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 5+ years of experience (L3-L5)
Proficient with electronic system design, development, and troubleshooting.
Demonstrate a strong aptitude and knowledge of software, including prior experience using National Instruments LabVIEW and/or TestStand software.
Prior experience with electronic test and measurement equipment, such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, source meters, and PXI equipment.
Ability to obtain a Department of Defense security clearanceNICE TO HAVE SKILLS & EXPERIENCEPrior experience designing and developing electrical circuits, schematics, and layouts.
Certified LabVIEW and/or TestStand Developer
Prior experience using National Instruments hardware platforms
Prior experience leading a team of engineers
Prior experience with PWB layout tools
Prior experience testing RF designs
Aerospace / Defense industry experience
