Purpose:
- Valkyrie Enterprises has an immediate need for an Electronics Technician 2 to support our San Diego California team.
Job Description:
- Support contractor personnel shall obtain and maintain certification in U.S. Navy Miniature/Microminiature (2M)/Module Test and Repair (MTR) Electronics Repair (2M) within thirty (30) calendar days of providing direct support,
- Recertification is required every 18 months per the Navy 2M certification program. Possess U.S. Navy Fiber Optic Certification prior to providing direct support.
- Support contractor personnel shall troubleshoot electronic circuit card assemblies (CCAs) and modules. Meet U.S. Navy standards for removal and replacement of electronic components on various CCAs and modules as required.
- Support contractor personnel shall maintain the Bird Track system, update the 2M progress of CCAs and modules for troubleshooting and repair in SWRMC Web Portal 2M Shop Tracker. Maintain 2M RAM inventory and perform and document monthly spot-checks to ensure the accuracy of inventory in Bird Track. Maintain communications with ships’ force and General Supply Specialist (GSS) and ensure piece parts management. Work in conjunction with the GSS team to ensure correct parts are ordered.
- Support contractor personnel shall ensure that piece parts are placed with the correct CCA and/or module when received.
- Support contractor personnel shall troubleshoot and repair military grade Cannon, CAT-5 and RF connectors using associated wiring diagrams provided by the ship or SWRMC Tech Code.
- Support contractor personnel shall possess U.S. Navy Fiber Optic Certification and repair ST, SC, LC, and termini style fiber optic connectors in accordance with Navy fiber optic standards.
- Support contractor personnel shall troubleshoot, align, repair, and test external communications equipment using the following test equipment: oscilloscope (O-scope), multi-meter, spectrum analyzer, frequency counter, communications analyzer, megger, two-tone generator, and RF meters
- Support contractor personnel shall troubleshoot, align, repair, and test HF (2-30 MHz) equipment. Provide Navy Enlisted Classification Code (NEC) 1420 (Surface HF Communications System Maintenance Technician)-comparable expertise and support for work on HF radios, receivers, amplifiers, and couplers.
- Support contractor personnel shall troubleshoot, align, repair, and test UHF (300 MHz-3 GHz) equipment. Provide NEC 1425 (Communications Equipment (WSC-3/UHF DAMA) Technician)-comparable expertise and support for work on UHF radios, amplifiers, and couplers.
- Support contractor personnel shall troubleshoot, disassemble, repair, reassemble, and test SRA-49, SRA-56, SRA-57, SRA-58, URA-38, and CU[1]2475 couplers; and AM-7317 and AM6534 amplifiers.

Security Requirements:
- Must have an Active DoD Secret security clearance and the ability to maintain a clearance.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance to access military facilities, naval shipyards, private shipyards, and Naval installations.
Travel Requirements:
- Occasional travel- less than 10%
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to support training with extended periods on your feet.
- Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
- Communicating with others to exchange information.
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
- Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.
