We are growing and need to add an Electronics Support Technician to our team. This member will assist with troubleshooting C-Lock equipment on an electrical and software level. We are looking for someone passionate about computers and electronics, enjoys tinkering with small electronics, and is comfortable with computer networking and related fields. This role will require balancing direct customer support with team coordination and oversight and will serve as a liaison between C-Lock and its customers, as well as between the customer support department, manufacturing, and sales.
Given that C-Lock products include many high-tech components, the candidate must have the ability to learn how each of our product's functions mechanically, electrically, and computationally. In addition, the candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills and a friendly demeanor to work with clients on the phone.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Talk with customers through email and on the phone to troubleshoot their equipment- Handling roughly 25-35 emails and up to 10 in-bound calls daily
- Respond and follow up with customers in a timely manner
- Create clear and concise step-by-step instructions for customers to troubleshoot and replacing equipment
- Remotely log into the C-Lock equipment to see equipment real-time feedback
- Order replacement parts that are needed to resolve client issues
- Work with travel technicians while they are at a customer site to walk through issues
- Assist in reviewing customer cases to ensure they are followed through to resolution
- Work with clients on networking issues with the equipment purchased through C-Lock Inc
- Provide feedback on ways to improve C-Lock’s processes
Requirements and Qualifications
- Moderate to expert experience with Linux command line
- Good understanding of electronics terminology and equipment
- Capable of reading schematics, datasheets, and using multimeter
- Understanding of IoT devices and setup is a plus (configuring routers and modems)
- Familiarity of basic digital sensors (load cells/strain gauges, IR ToF distance sensors, hall effect sensors, hot-wire anemometers, etc)
- Comfortable with reading time-series sensor data and understanding their meaning
- Good organizational, critical-thinking, and communication skills
- Expert Computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office and email use
- Experience and knowledge in SalesForce is a plus
- Comfortable talking to customers on the phone and over email
- Able to balance and prioritize multiple tasks, ensuring each is completed and resolved

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
