This will be a minimum 1-year engagement, but most likely 3+ years…all ONSITE 100% of the time – multiple positions available - US Citizen required

Work with customers and implement NVIDIA Graphics Cards for applications needing high performance GPU’s

Work directly with VDI customers and assisted them with their VDI Environments

Integrate an NVIDA Tesla M60 to be used for GPU virtualization for VDI Power Users (AutoCAD)

The NVIDIA GPU that Partner is using is 700W, which could be more than double the power of the current option, which would likely mitigate the benefit of the larger server chassis.

Personnel Skills and Qualifications

Associate Server Support Engineer

Principal accountabilities

  • Field incoming automated service tickets from Dell and Customers technicians either via telephone, in-person and e-mail in a courteous manner.
  • Initiate service tickets when problems or issues are witnessed, and automated help request not initiated.
  • Document all pertinent server identification information, including name, rack number, service tag, serial number and nature of problem or issue.
  • Prioritize and schedule problems. Escalate problems (when required) to the appropriately experienced technician.
  • Record, track, and document the help desk request problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to final resolution.
  • Maintain Spare Parts Locker.
  • Perform hands-on fixes at the server level.
  • Performing preventative maintenance, including manually checking servers.
  • Perform post-resolution follow-ups to help requests.

Experience and qualifications

  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in supporting and maintaining Dell PowerEdge servers.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience with NVIDIA GPU hardware, maintenance, and replacement.
  • Work experience in a DataCenter environment
  • Intermediate knowledge of Windows operating systems
  • Experience working with service management tools such as Service Now or Remedy
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills
