Job Description
We are currently seeking a Parking Lot Electronics Equipment Technician to join our team, primarily working at JFK and LGA Airports. This is a full-time position that requires working 5 consecutive days a week, 8 hours a day, including weekends and holidays. Holiday pay is provided at time and a half.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair of Parking Lot entry and exit equipment at JFK and LGA Airports. (Ticket dispensing machines, ticket readers, gate arms, payment machines)
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on Parking Lot Equipment to ensure its optimal functionality.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with Parking Lot Equipment, and provide timely and effective solutions.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to coordinate repair and maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance performed.
Requirements:
- Possess a responsible and reliable work ethic.
- Have a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, and different shifts.
- Familiarity with electronic systems and troubleshooting techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in maintaining or repairing Parking Lot equipment.
- Knowledge of tolling and Parking Lot systems and technologies.
Shift Hours
Hours during training will most likely be 6am to 2:30PM
Assigned shift will be 2:30pm to 10pm
