As an Electronic Technician (Dispenser Technician), you will assist in the build, assembly, and wiring of prototype and test equipment, as well as perform failure analyses of parts, subassemblies and equipment. You will work in collaboration with the Dispenser team to develop and enhance products that unleash the potential of Pharmacy for our customers.
Shift: Monday to Friday from 3:00 - 11:30 pm ET
What you'll do:
- Troubleshoot and test parts and assemblies to company specifications
- Setup tests and perform visual, mechanical, and electricaltesting per test plan
- Accurately analyze failure cause of equipment and develop a failure analysis report
- Document activities by completing production and quality forms according to established policies and procedures
- Use various soldering tools to perform production and/or repair assemblies as required
- Evaluate appropriate Warranty and field data for each product
- Complies with established job safety practices, policies, and procedures, as specified in company directives for the safe performance of the work assignment
- Performs various manual or mechanical production functions by assembling, adjusting, and repairing equipment to established policies and procedures
- Conducts the inspection of in-process or finished products to ensure they meet specification
- Keeps equipment operational by completing preventative maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; and coordinating required repairs
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Identify areas of the product that could be enhanced for testability, diagnostics and serviceability.
- Serve a number of internal customers for technician services balancing tasks and schedule
What you'll bring:
- Associate degree in electrical engineering technology or equivalent experience
- Ability to troubleshoot using electrical and mechanical test equipment ( i.e.: Digital Vibration Tester (DVM), Oscilloscope, and mechanical measurement tools)
- Ability to read and understand prints and schematics as well as other similar layouts
- Experience with screwdrivers, torque drivers, and various wrenches
- Soldering and crimping experience
- Ability to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment in accordance with training guidelines
- Ability to read, understand, and follow policies and procedures
- Able to perform in a highly detailed, fast paced technical environment
- Detail-oriented and capable of performing consistent high-quality work
- Ability to focus on the details of the work requirement to fulfill the requested work in a timely and efficient manner
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to develop and maintain record keeping systems and procedures
- Ability to collect data, create, compose, and edit written materials and reports
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and operating system
Even better if you have:
- Prior failure analysis experience
- Knowledge of IPC610 and J-Standards
- Experience working in a manufacturing setting where quality is vital
- Excellent electrical and mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of pharmaceuticals
- Certified Pharmacy Technician experience
