Job Description
Work You’ll Do:
- Develop basic technical documents such as design criteria, system descriptions, specifications, and requests for equipment procurement.
- Give technical direction to design and drafting personnel in the development of construction and fabrication drawings for specific customer project.
- Assist with testing the assembled equipment to ensure it preforms as designed.
- Review vendor documentation such as drawings, procedures, and operations manuals to assure that these are in conformance with Speciation given to the vendors.
- Interface with customers and suppliers on technical matters when required.
- This position will work with a team of engineering professional, to complete project work.
- Familiar with CAD Packages (preferably E-Plan), ability to read complex electrical diagrams
- Working knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures with this particular field.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field.
- 2+ years of applicable engineering experience.
- Possess basic troubleshooting skills for electrical components.
- Be proficient with Allen Bradley Control Logix and Compact Logix hardware and RS-Logix 5000 programming software. Siemens S7-300 Series PLC programming a plus.
- Ability to perform system integration of multiple pieces of equipment under an extended scope project
- Be able to develop HMI applications using Wonderware, Factory Talk. Siemens Win CC HMI software a plus.
- Familiar with NEC, NFPA or related industry standard codes.
