JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary
Regal Boats is seeking a motivated self-starter to join our team as an Industrial Electrician. Industrial Electricians are responsible for the set up and install of electrical infrastructure and testing of electrical wiring and equipment. Electricians must be first and foremost responsible individuals with great attention to safety precautions. The ideal candidate must also be experienced in different kinds of electrical devices and systems.

Compensation

$22.00 - $27.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Install conduit to bulkheads, for example, connection boxes, circuit breakers, voltage regulators, and control panels.
Ensures appropriate connections from power-supply circuits to Motors, CNC, HVAC Systems, Lighting, Power Supplies, and any electrical equipment.
Correctly interprets technical documents for proper execution of assignments.
Troubleshoots electrical equipment and circuits using appropriate test equipment.
Collaborate with leadership and engineering to help improve products.
Manage and complete job duties according to the production schedule.
Follow the company’s safety and quality guidelines
Keep the worksite clean to avoid hazards.

Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Have at least 3-4+ years of recent Industrial or Commercial Experience
Knowledgeable in pertinent electrical codes and regulations
Able to understand schematics and other technical documents
Must be able to handle physically-demanding tasks
Must follow all safety standards and procedures

Conversational English

Preferred Qualifications
Be able to understand and follow verbal and written directions
Detail-Oriented
Be able to demonstrate a record of dependability and reliability with prior work experience
Ability to interpret manufacturing schedules
At least 2 years of experience in electrical (including tools of the trade), specifically in industrial or commercial.
Working knowledge of 12Vdc, 24Vdc and 48Vdc systems
Be able to install conduits, outlets, control panel, electric motor, VFD, PLCs Transformers.
Experience working with 24 Vac, 110Vac, 120Vac, 208Vac, 220Vac, 240Vac, 277Vac, 460Vac, 480Vac
Associate’s Degree

Work Environment
Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air temperature reaching over 100 degrees fahrenheit at times.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend at the waist and knees and stand for extended periods of time. The employee is frequently required to climb into and out of the boats using stairs. The employee must frequently be able to lift 50 pounds, work 10 hour days with most of the time being on your feet, and work overtime, whether planned or unplanned. Must be able to work in confined spaces.
