RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform all duties in accordance with all applicable regulations and company policies (e.g., Quality, Safety, and Environmental).
- Ability to focus on Continuous Improvement.
- Training of new employees.
Technical/Maintenance Support:
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems
- Troubleshooting and problem solving of electrical equipment.
- Perform Preventive Maintenance on existing equipment
- Reline, update and maintain electrical prints.
- Exhibit strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Schedule flexibility to meet the needs of the business
- Transfer of skills knowledge to peers
Safety:
- Actively participate in safety initiatives.
- Demonstrate and follow safe work practices.
- Identify improvement opportunities.
- Thorough understanding of site and craft safety guidelines/procedures.
Productivity:
- Execute weekly work schedule and adjust to reactive requests as needed.
- Support engineering and capital projects, from concept through qualification.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities to enhance our business, reduce cost, and improve customer service.
Quality and Compliance:
Each individual is responsible to meet fundamental cGMP requirements relating to their conduct and work practices.
This includes but is not limited to the following:
- Adherence to all written instructions.
- Timely reporting of all deviations to supervision.
- Training on each activity is completed and current and that each employee understands their assigned duties.
- Strict documentation practices are followed to ensure that all steps of the operation are appropriately documented.
- Ensure to maintain the work area in a state of cleanliness and sanitation through good housekeeping practices and applying good personal health practices.
- Ensure the security and safety of the product through the reporting of any potential risk to supervision immediately.
- Ensure the safety of the personnel and product by wearing proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) according to the operation being executed.
- Each individual should report any action that they believe could impact the quality of any product immediately to supervision.
- Follow all GMP/CDI Guidelines.
- Maintain 100% current on Individual Training Plan.
- Accurately document and update SAP/PM module system daily.
REQUIREMENTS
- 1-3 years of Industrial Electrical experience.
- Provide a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Multi-skilled with other crafts.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Previous experience in an industrial workplace.
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to read and red/line electrical schematics
- Experience in the installation of fiber optic systems.
- Thorough knowledge and experience in lighting, heat trace, production equipment, motors, motor controls, security systems, and power distribution systems.
- Prior experience with the department is preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must complete required ITP training.
- Night shift availability
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
- May be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Able to ascend/descend stairs and ladders
- May be required to enter confined space
- May be required to work in a high noise/high temperature environment
- May be required to work outside in an uncontrolled environment
- May be required to operate motorized vehicles
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Ability to operate powered equipment
