Position Summary:
The Electrical Service Technician II will serve as a liaison between the customer and the Service Supervisor/Manager and will be responsible for organizing and controlling the preparation and execution of Electrical Service work to meet company objectives of cost, quality, and equipment conservation.

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Plan, organize, supervise, and direct the work of the crew.
- Monitor and document the progress of the assigned electrical work including the quality and quantity of work performed.
- Required to perform electrical installation and maintenance work.
- Maintain the service vehicle in a clean and orderly manner, as well as ensure that service and repair is performed in a timely manner.
- Monitor the work to ensure that the service request is completed in accordance with local and NEC requirements.
- Establish relationships with the clients and obtain acceptance and approval of completed work.
- Provide technical assistance, i.e., interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods, equipment, etc. as required.
- Responsible for adhering to job safety standards in accordance with OSHA regulations and established Tri-City Safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure that the area where service work is performed is properly restored to normal and clean conditions when the work is complete.
- Order materials and request manpower as needed, as well as monitor, track, and approve employee work time as necessary.
- Participate in emergency service duty on a rotating basis.
- Attend job scheduling and coordination meetings.
- Responsible for schedule adjustments as necessary to ensure satisfactory support and completion of all projects and customer commitments.

Experience and Education:
Required:
- Four (4) years' experience as a service electrician or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
- Must possess a valid Florida Driver's license in good standing to meet the company's driving requirements.
- Ability to work nights/weekends and travel out of town on overnight trips to meet job/project demands.
- Strong working knowledge of construction, electrical work, and systems.
- Must possess the ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and lay out a project; including the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Knowledge of basic mathematical operations and calculations (e.g., addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, order of operations) to calculate labor, materials, and/or cost estimates for projects and work orders, etc.
- Working knowledge of National Electrical Codes.
- Must have the ability to effectively read, write and communicate in the English language at a 12th-grade level.
Preferred:
- Bilingual
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license.
- OSHA30

Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the day.
- Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina.
- Ability to wear company-approved Personal Protective Equipment per local, state, federal, or OSHA regulations.
- The employee must frequently lift and move items a minimum of 25 pounds, occasionally lifting and/or moving objects that weigh more than 100 pounds.
- Requires the ability to perform physical duties listed above for extended periods.
- This job's specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers/printers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
- This job operates in an indoor professional office or job site environment. May work outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
- Employees may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The employee may occasionally be exposed to various extreme conditions while at various locations.
- Employees will be exposed to moderate noise (i.e., business office with computers, phones, printers, and light traffic).
Position Type, Expected Hours of Work, and Travel:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work vary but equate to 40 hours per week. May be requested to work overtime, nights, and weekends.
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
