As an Electrical Project Manager you would be responsible for overseeing the design, installation and supply of Electrical Projects (residential, commercial and industrial) . On your Day-to-day duties will include scheduling workers to their projects, allocate time, resource and budget, as well as manage staff to ensure work is completed on time and to a high standard as well as collaborating with other Project Managers. Electrical Project Managers are responsible for organizing and completing Electrical Projects. We require knowledge in these skills:

Some of the duties that will be your responsibility
Change orders
- Communicate changes with the on-site superintendent.
- Update change logs with proposal costs.
- Review and update change logs with:
- Bs and RFIs
- Damages
- GC and owner requests
- Send updated cost letters to customers and GCs.
- Ensure approved change orders are incorporated into the project plan.
Agile construction® — project execution and tracking
- Capture/manage inputs such as percent completions into SIS® and JPAC®, change orders, accounting hours, and composite rate
- Conduct weekly job review meetings.
- Communicate outputs and guide action based on productivity charts, trending, projection, composite rate trends, and reported obstacles on site.
Billing
- Create and update AIAs and bill accordingly.
- Review follow-up with field work order and bill accordingly.
Drawings logs
- Archive documents, and accurately maintain drawing logs.
- Post all addenda, RFI responses, and change orders to drawings.
- Prepare a drawing log.
Schedules
- Track and update the project schedule.
- Monitoring project schedule.
- Create project status reports for Project Managers and stakeholders.
Procurement
- Complete vendor information forms.
- Maintain procurement log.
- Coordinate with internal purchasing personnel for the status of material deliveries.
- Ensure purchase order numbers in absence of PO personnel.
- Coordinate job-site deliveries.
- Track material costs.
Coordination needs to happen both internally and externally during the life of the project.
