As the Electrical Area Manager, you will be responsible for the safe, reliable, and cost effective operations of the CSTD development factories, the development of new enabling, hardening, or energy conservation projects related to the electrical disciplines, the successful transfer of technologies to HVM sites within the network, and the support of construction ramps in CSTD and receiving factories.
In addition, you will manage employees and/or outside contractors who construct, maintain, and repair buildings, utilities systems, facilities systems, and/or install equipment and associated support systems. This position requires thorough knowledge of business practices and procedures in order to perform non repetitive, analytical work and provide solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
  • Management and leadership of the electrical, instrumentation, facilities automation, and electromagnetic compatibility groups.
  • Accountability for detailed, accurate documentation including master design standard, master construction specifications, process and instrumentation diagrams, sequence of operations, operational and maintenance procedures, response flow charts, and training packages.
  • Ownership for the development and execution of a technology development roadmap for each group.
  • Accountable for review of designs, construction, and operations for the technology receiving factories as well as management of all suppliers and/or vendors within the groups.
  • Lead the operations team in unexpected situations such as safety events, operational impacts, and planned downtime events.
  • Will be partnering internally with other business groups.

Qualifications:
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. This position is not eligible for Immigration Sponsorship.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in any Engineer field with 7+ years of experience. OR a Master of Science degree in any Engineering field with 5+ years of experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in the following:
    • Supporting facilities processes at a manufacturing location.
    • People management with proven record of organizational and employee development.
    • Facilities operations AND/OR technology development AND/OR process technology transfer
    • Electrical distribution AND/OR instrumentation AND/OR controls

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Radiated emissions and controls including ESD, EMI, Ionization
