Electrical Engineer

My client is a Engineering Firm and located here in Evansville and are looking for a Electrical Engineer. They would like to have someone with a minimum of 3-5 years experience.

This is a very good firm. They have been in business over 30 years. The compensation is very competitive and includes a full paid medical benefit package that starts immediately and covers the entire family (if needed).

They would like a real go getter, someone that can lead the department and grow their Electrical Engineering Division.  Salary is commensurate with experience.

Electrical Engineer

Candidates must be a self-motivated leader and possess good communication skills with strong working knowledge of basic electrical drawings and diagrams, electrical concepts, and power calculations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Execute and manage electrical design projects from concept through record drawing stages.
• Estimate electrical design costs.
• Specify electrical system components.
• Generate electrical design and installation packages.
• Estimate project installation costs.
• Wire and panel sizing and electrical systems layout per NEC and building codes.

Additional preferred experience:

• Previous experience in Electrical Engineering or other related fields.
• PLC programming.
• Coordinating mechanical and electrical designs.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.

Types of projects include, but are not limited to, industrial and commercial design, machine modifications, lighting and electrical component specifications, data and communication system design, power distribution design, and automation/PLC design.
