Felix Schoeller North America is seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer for maintenance and optimization in the field of automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for systematic troubleshooting of Siemens automation systems and drive technology for the coater and auxiliary equipment. The Electrical Engineer will troubleshoot in drive technology, PLC, visualization, Ethernet and virtual PCs. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for the spare parts concept and management, support of the technological further development and optimization of the process processes via the trend system in WinCC / KRIS, alarming, recipe system. Organization and further development of maintenance concepts, first and second level support, on site and via remote access. The Electrical Engineer will have a close cooperation with IT in network infrastructure and virtualization. The candidate will be responsible for the further digitalization of production facilities while maintaining IT security. The Electrical Engineer will also assume the interface function between production, technology, engineering, and suppliers.
Responsibilities:
· Systematic troubleshooting of Siemens automation systems and drive technology for the coater and auxiliary equipment.
· Troubleshooting in drive technology, PLC, visualization, network Profinet and Ethernet, virtual PCs.
· Spare parts concept and management.
· Support of the technological further development and optimization of the process processes via the trend system in WinCC / KRIS, alarming, recipe system.
· Organization and further development of maintenance concepts, first and second level support, on site and via remote access.
· Close cooperation with IT in network infrastructure and virtualization.
· Further digitalization of production facilities while maintaining IT security.
· Assumption of the interface function between production, technology, engineering, and suppliers.
Requirements:
· BS in Engineering in the field of Electrical Engineering, automation or comparable.
· Ideally professional experience in the paper, chemical, plastics or steel industry.
· Experience with measurement and control technology, drive controls, frequency converters.
· Practical experience with Siemens automation systems S7, WinCC, TIA-Portal, Sinamics, Profinet is also desirable.
· Independent and systematic way of working coupled with good communication style.
· Pronounced curiosity and openness to innovations.
