Responsibilities:
- Assists in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, engineering studies, and designs for project
- Assists in the development of probable construction cost estimates for his/her projects within the department
- Prepares designs and plans under close supervision using computer-aided design and engineering software packages or conventional methods
- Prepares design computations and quantity estimates under the direction of an experienced designer
- Performs occasional drafting
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's of Electrical Engineering program from an accredited university or college
- Ability to operate a computer and basic computer software
- Previous AutoCAD/Revit experience a plus
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
- Work visas and PERM applications are not supported in this role
