Department Overview
The RF Site Hardware team is an organization within the Products and Solutions group of Motorola Solutions. The team is responsible for developing and maintaining sophisticated and highly reliable communications, infrastructure and networking products for Mission Critical and commercial communication products across a variety of global markets and standards. The RF Site Hardware Engineering team develops state of the art Digital, Radio Frequency, Mechanical and Power Supply solutions to meet our customer's needs.
Job Description
The candidate will be given an assignment that will comprise of circuit design and/or repeater hardware troubleshooting. The assignment may also include performance verification.
Skills:
  • Candidate must have coursework in hardware engineering, with emphasis on Radio Frequency and wireless communications.
  • The candidate must be interested in RF circuit design and have a strong interest in radio operation and development.
  • The candidate must possess strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Candidates with a GPA of 3.0 or higher are strongly preferred.
  • Prior internship experience or involvement with amateur radio are a plus.

Basic Requirements
  • Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Must gradute on or after December 2024.
  • Must be a US Citizen, permanent resident or be an MS student with work authorization (F1 Visa on CPT accepted only for masters-level students).
