Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Support product development of the world's fastest airliner.
  • Functional design according to block diagram or equipment specification.
  • Schematic preparation from Functional Diagram to Wiring Diagram.
  • Development to improve existing tool (example CIRCE macro).
  • Schematic creation (FD, WD).
  • Components choice (connectors, pins, cables, backshell, conduits, etc....).
  • Perform electrical architecture.
  • Route choice according to EMC code and Safety code definition (Zonal Integration)
  • Modification impacts investigation.
  • Bill of Material creation.
  • Gage computation according to voltage drop or derating.
  • Connector pin layout definition according to EMC.
  • Process Technology choice (shielding, EMI conduits, etc....)
  • Use of Simplified English ASD-STE100.

Education/Experience

  • B.S./B.A. degree in engineering or another technical field.

Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

  • Familiarity with Schematics diagrams - Knowledge of the aeronautical world, design of electrical schematics, choice of components, schematic drawing software.
  • Familiarity with Harnesses routing - Knowledge of the aeronautical world, Harness Design in context, choice of protection, harness modeling using CAED software.
  • Familiarity with Definition drawings - Knowledge of the aeronautical world, realization of definition drawings, choice of functional measurement, CAD software
  • Familiarity with Design Office Support - Knowledge of the aeronautical world, knowledge of technical preparation, industrialization, development. Software design and realization of presentation, reports.

Nice to have:

  • Anomalies treatment (detection)

Salary Range: $90,000 - $150,000

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.

Location: Onsite. Work at the customer site in Denver, CO between 3 months – 12 months. Then will work onsite in Toulouse, France or Hamburg, Germany for 1 – 2 years more.
