Electrical Designer or Engineer - Commercial Projects Experience required | Roseville, CA
Are you an Electrical Designer with a passion for Commercial Projects? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team in Roseville, California. For either an entry or Sr. level my client is open to all levels of experience. You'll play a key role in our design process, bringing electrical systems to life for a variety of projects which include K-12, higher education, healthcare, office, etc...
Position: Electrical Designer or Engineer
Salary: $70-110k plus 100% paid for benefits for employee and annual bonuses upwards of $7k!
Preferred Experience:
Requiring Revit and commercial buildings projects experience.
Title 24 experience is a must
Strong conceptual knowledge of applicable code sections and jurisdictional requirements
Familiarity with various project types and the required drawing and specification information
Understanding of design task workflow and ability to coordinate design deliverables within a team
Ability to layout basic electrical systems with upfront guidance
Supervision required, with a willingness to learn and develop skills further
Capability to recognize systems during field investigations and record basic information accurately
Discipline-Specific Proficiency Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or recommendation as an EIT/FE (Engineer in Training/Fundamentals of Engineering)
Proficiency in BIM/CAD (Building Information Modeling/Computer-Aided Design) techniques and software
Strong conceptual knowledge of applicable code sections and jurisdictional requirements
Familiarity with various project types and the required drawing and specification information

Discipline-Specific Proficiency Requirements:
Revit and Title 24. Must work in office.
Point-by-point lighting photometric calculations
Fault current study calculations
Basic interpretation of data and information
Familiarity with Title 24 calculations (EnergyPro)
Conceptual understanding of typical equipment/system types and their function
Knowledge of electrical distribution system design principles
Familiarity with sizing and selecting equipment and fixtures
Understanding of typical system routing and construction practices
