Job Description Qualifications:
Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Maintenance and Ground Operations Systems - Support Equipment Design Team is seeking an Associate or Mid-LevelElectrical Design Engineer to join our team in Seal Beach, CA. Candidates will work with customers and stakeholders to develop, design, and document complex electronic and electrical ground support equipment and tools for routine maintenance and unscheduled repair of Boeing aircraft.

Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate and Mid-Level engineers.
Position Responsibilities:

• Work with customers and stakeholders to develop, design, and document electronic and electrical ground support equipment and tools.
• Analyze and translate requirements into system, hardware and software designs and interface specifications.
• Test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
• Provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
• Develop solutions that are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives.
• Research/investigate relevant and emerging technology advances to meet projected requirements and for potential application to company business needs.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Typical Education & Experience:
Associate: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Mid-Level: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range Associate: $85,850 - $116,150
Summary pay range Mid-Level: $102,850 - $139,150
