Sr. Electrical Design Engineer

Summary: Seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer for project design and construction support, with expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, and low voltage facility design.

Requirements:

• BSEE or equivalent degree

• Senior level experience in Electrical Design Engineering

• Proficient in designing/drafting electrical systems using AutoCAD and Revit

• Experience with building projects, particularly hospitals

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to engage with clients and contribute to landing projects

• Knowledge of power, lighting, voice/data, fire/security alarm, and audio/video communications systems

Responsibilities:

• Design/draft electrical systems to meet project scope and code requirements

• Direct and assist CADD operators on assigned projects ensuring compliance with standards and codes

• Participate in field investigations, meetings, construction submittal reviews, and responses to information requests

• Produce designs from concept through construction documents with drafting support staff assistance

• Research information for electrical system design per project scope of work

• Maintain communication with project team leader, clients, and other disciplines for project coordination

• Review documents for accuracy before quality assurance review by the team leader

• Prepare specifications, forms, reports related to the projects

 

 

 

 

Pay Details: $40.00 to $50.00 per hour
