Looking for:
- 3+ years AutoCAD electrical experience
- Must have at least 3 years of control panel design experience.
- Ability to read, edit and create electrical schematics.
- Electrical Circuit Design Experience
- UL 508A Knowledge preferred.
- CAD training preferred.
- Someone able to help setup Electrical Drawing Standards.
- Able to use AutoCAD electrical features to automate tasks.
Duties
- Identify missing or vague information prior to the start of a project.
- Create Panel Layouts and Sizing.
- Create Panel Component BOMs.
- Create Electrical Components RFQs.
- Send Quotes to Purchasing for Ordering.
- Create Electrical Drawings with AutoCAD Electrical.
- Update electrical drawings from Shop Redline Drawings.
- Update Electrical Components Ship Dates as needed.
- Update all BOMs to make sure changes are captured.
- Develop and maintain Electrical AutoCAD drawing standards.
- Train Engineers on AutoCAD Electrical Standards as needed.
- Responsible for communicating with other Engineers, Department Managers, Project Managers, sales, test, and manufacturing.
- Communicate any concerns, problems and/or changes affecting the satisfactory completion of the project to the Automation Manager.
- Other duties as needed.
