Overview:
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Supervisor to join our team. As an HVAC Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This is a leadership role that requires strong project management skills and a solid understanding of HVAC systems.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise a team of HVAC technicians
- Plan and coordinate HVAC projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
- Conduct regular inspections of HVAC systems to identify any issues or potential problems
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC equipment
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal system performance
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient operation of HVAC systems
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed and materials used
- Provide technical guidance and support to HVAC technicians
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices in HVAC technology
Skills:
- Strong project management skills
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems and components
- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of schematics
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Ability to work with low voltage electrical systems
- Experience in fabricating sheet metal for ductwork is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Strong leadership and team management skills
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HVAC Supervisor or similar role
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in HVAC is a plus
- Knowledge of facilities management principles
