Electric Drive Truck Technician

This is a DIRECT HIRE POSITION!

Pay-rate: $30-$35 DOE

Schedule: 5:00AM-2:00PM Monday-Friday

We are currently hiring for an ELECTRIC DRIVE TRUCK TECHNICIAN around PHOENIX, AZ!

Our client,Road Machinery, is one of the top suppliers of product support solutions to the mining, quarries, production, and earth moving industries and we are seeking a DIRECT HIRE of ELECTRIC DRIVE TRUCK TECHNICIAN.

Our ideal candidate has an aptitude for precision and can accommodate unique build requirements from clients. We prefer candidates who have at least 2 years of prior dealership experience. Qualifications:

• 2 years of previous dealership experience
• 3+ years of successful hands-on experience with EDT system experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work independently in performing repairs and maintenance
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electronics
• Team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and service team
• Self-motivated and professional
• Willing to submit to pre-employment background check and drug screening

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair high voltage electrical breakdowns on heavy haulage equipment
• Read and understand data pack downloads and program electrical drive system configurations
• Read electrical schematics and perform mechanical and hydraulic troubleshooting (preferred)
• Create job plan based on diagnosis, including repair operations and anticipated repair hours needed
• Prepare inspection, root cause failure analysis, troubleshoot and teardown reports
• Maintain a safe work area, and communicate effectively with service planner, supervisors and customers
• Complete all work according to applicable safety requirements and published procedures
• Other duties as outlined by service supervisor and/or management
