As the Electric Drive Truck Technical Service Representative, you will effectively communicate/liaise between Product Support, Product Engineering & Komatsu Service Centers to assist with truck assemblies, commissioning and technical support.
- Support Komatsu mining products across the U.S. service network.
- Lead and assist with new equipment assembly and commissioning across the U.S.
- Provide high level technical support and development of junior technicians
- Troubleshoot high level technical issues
- Prepare clear and concise service reports relating to services performed
- Support Autonomous mining projects across U.S.
- Extensive travel across North America
- Operate and maintain company issued vehicle according to company fleet policy
- 10+ years of related industry experience. 8+ years of product level experience
- Advanced understanding of technical specification, blueprint & schematic reading
- Strong commitment to safety
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage product issue campaigns and product level teams/groups
- Ability to prepare formal reports usable by all facets of the organization
- Advanced understanding of technical specification, blueprint & schematic reading
- Ability to lead and conduct repairs in field with maintenance and repair personnel
- Ability to collect and analyze data. Ability to prepare formal reports on findings and supply recommendations
- Ability to produce training material and assist in training of field service technicians
- Experience performing service on and assembling electric and/or mechanical drive mining haul trucks and other loading and haulage equipment
- Experience working on autonomous loading and haulage equipment
- Electrical control system experience
- Extensive travel required
