EHS Assistant Manager

What’s the Job?
- Is responsible for monitoring working conditions to ensure all activity is compliant with local, state, and federal safety regulations
- Ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal Safety Regulations including those set by OSHA and EPA.
- Writing, implementing, and managing EHS Programs, policies, and procedures. • Complete and maintain OSHA 300 log. In-depth knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards
- Conducts safety audits to identify workplace hazards via periodic safety and health walk-through inspections of all workplace facilities
What’s Needed?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Health/Safety, industrial hygiene, or a related field; or a combination of related experience and education
- Experience with a manufacturing or processing company strongly preferred
- Ability to read and interpret dense legal and federal OSHA documents
