Mixologist

North Pond, a fine dining restaurant with 26 years of service, is looking for a bartender/mixologist. We are in the heart of Lincoln Park. We pride ourselves in providing our staff and guests with the highest standards of service and respect. Our clientele is made up of people who have celebrated with us for years. They are eager to continue supporting us, looking forward to enjoying superior products and the exemplary service for which we are known.

The ideal candidate will play an important role in delighting our guests and working with a seasoned team of professionals. You must work well with others. The job is Thursday- Sunday. If you feel that you have the qualifications to work with a professional demeanor, a sense of humor and a desire to do your best, send us your resume. You must have interpersonal skills: empathy, patience, tolerance, cooperation, and cultural competence.

We ask that you have two or more years of experience honing your skills to craft unique cocktails with local craft spirits and fresh ingredients. We feature herbs and spices from Rare Tea Cellars & the farmer’s market. Drawing inspiration from the local market, Chef César Murillo, Chef De Cuisine John Brandon, and Pastry Chef Laura Thomasson utilize exceptional ingredients at the height of their season. North Pond supports small, local farmers, growers and producers and treats their product with respect and care in the kitchen.
