Editorial Assistant

Applicants should have strong grammar, spelling and punctuation skills; knowledge of Associated Press style is a plus. Journalism and customer service experience is preferred.

The job will involve answering phones, helping walk-in customers, handling obituaries and other office duties.

The Dominion Post is a community newspaper, publishing 365 days a year, no matter the weather or holiday – so only dependable and reliable candidates need apply.

Applicants must work well under pressure, and be available to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
