This EDI/SI Analyst/Developer is responsible for implementing and supporting Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Solutions using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator. The developer will be part of a team that develops and deploys EDI solutions for global business systems.

Additionally, this role is eligible for a full range of benefit options listed above. This position is also eligible for a holiday gift.

This EDI/SI Analyst/Developer is responsible for implementing and supporting Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Solutions using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator. The developer will be part of a team that develops and deploys EDI solutions for global business systems.
Job Functions/ Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal and external customers to identify requirements and deliver high quality EDI integrations that are efficient, scalable and maintainable
- Develop translation specifications from requirements
- Interpret, clarify and code to specifications
- Maintain and enhance existing implementations
- Production support of EDI transaction maps and related business processes
- Understanding Business Processes and BPML
- Responding to problems and bringing to resolution
- Understanding of PGP encryption of decryption
- Resolve secure communications protocols errors
- Utilize preconfigured processes to tailor to MFT requests
Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in code development, scripting, workflow, data mapping
- Must be familiar with X12 and EDIFACT EDI standards
- Experience with EDI and SAP IDOC Mapping required
- Knowledge of software design and testing methodologies
- Willing to learn new technologies
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, customer support environment and with all levels of the organization
- On call availability (24x7) for system support
- Experience with automotive, manufacturing or distribution companies a plus
- Agile/Scrum experience is preferred
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field desired
