Job Description
Responsibilities
- Directing the activities of both the Trauma and the ED
- Delivery of high quality nursing care
- Administrative management of the nursing unit on a 24-hour basis
- Responsible for planning and development, oversight of education, injury prevention, and oversight of performance improvement (PI)
Qualifications
Required
- Current CA RN license
- ED nursing experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong computer skills with knowledge of Windows and Outlook
- Excellent interpersonal skills, flexible, experience in public speaking
Preferred
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS
- 3-5 years trauma nursing experience
- Master's degree
- Knowledge of injury prevention
- Knowledge of ICD-9 and 10 coding
