This is an entry-level, part-time position. There is a minimum of 20 hours worked per week (up to 40). College students are encouraged to apply, while post-graduates may look towards our full-time offerings. After basic training, you would set a schedule of hours/days per week you would like to work with your team manager.
You would help collect, organize, and update key macroeconomic and financial figures. To ensure the validity of these government and third-party releases, quality assurance checks are run on the data and reviewed. Further tasks would involve the creation of new data series/data sets and learning how to automate processes such as web extraction and data conversion using Python, EViews, and other tools. This role in particular is looking for those with fluent reading and writing skill in Japanese to aid in our production of Japanese focused UI elements.
Language skills needed: Japanese (Reading/Writing fluency)
