Online marketplaces, web shops and social media are now the greatest means for modern business expansion. As someone who wants to access the widest consumer base possible, offering your products only locally or via brick n mortar means will greatly limit your sales potential. Access to online marketplaces, web shops and social media is now a must if you want to increase your sales volume.
The drastic increase in online commerce is also causing detriment to brand owners distribution channels, which suffer from non-authorized sales, product diversion, illicit parallel importation and violation of their re-sale agreements and distribution policies.
In Corsearch’s eCommerce department we are driven to detect, monitor and notify grey market violators across the entire online landscape to help our clients re-gain control of their online distribution channels.
✅The Role
As an eCommerce Client Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for Clients who want to protect their brands by using big data in a distribution centric manner.
To achieve this, you will use innovative and strategic methods to analyze networks and identify connections between multiple data points. You will utilize methods such as price deviation analytics, import/export data reports and account matching capabilities to identify misbehaving sellers and provide a better overview of the Grey Market environment for their products. You will play a crucial role in the formulation and implementation of the client’s strategy when it comes to distribution monitoring. You will collect and organize useful evidence and report your findings to your Client or to your manager.
✅Responsibilities and Duties
- Identify, investigate and analyse networks of misbehaving distributors in the online scene.
- Identify, gather, verify and enforce violations of distribution policies in the grey trade scene.
- Learn how to use modern tools to gather online data at your will.
- Prepare clear and cohesive reports by collecting, analysing and summarizing information.
- Coordinate the deliverable of one or two eCommerce analysts reporting their duties directly to you.
- Brainstorm with other members of the team about how to utilize big data, deep learning and machine learning techniques to improve the teams’ performance.
- Brainstorm conceptualization and implementation of deliverables to provide alternative insights for clients.
- Stay up to date with the market trends and techniques, for ex., new platforms or new ways to collect data and elaborate data.
✅Essential
- Bachelor’s and Master`s degree in law, business and / or in any quantitative data-driven subject (such as sciences, economics, mathematics, computer science).
- Applications with alternative education backgrounds will also be accepted if they match the below criteria;
- Affinity with law and business principles regulating licensing – distribution agreements and anti-competitive behavior;Affinity in Intellectual Property law;
- Good Excel skills;
- Adept at data visualization;
- Adept at recognizing patterns, trends and classifications;
- Interest in pricing analytics and knowledge of applications;
- Interest in conceptualization and implementation of streamlined data models and processes;
- Interest in supply chain management;
- Interest in post-sale product lifecycle monitoring and Distribution Monitoring;
- Ability to manage ingestion, transformation, analysis and communication of data;
- Affinity with quantitative and qualitative datasets and the capacity to interpret both in tandem;
- Exceptional communication skills;
- Exceptional time management and prioritization skills;
- Good client management skills.
