Overview of Position:

Earthbound is seeking an Assistant or Associate eCommerce Manager for our organic Home Brand, Under the Canopy. This role will report directly into the Director and support in the growth and development of our DTC business.In time, they will act as the website operations lead, managing the website and working collaboratively with the creative, merchandising, and marketing teams to ensure a best experience for consumers.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for daily site maintenance - monitoring shipping, ensuring proper merchandising, creating the related products logic, and site auditing to ensure great user experience
  • Responsible for the product set up - tracking of inventory, coordination of assets and product data, routine QA to ensure accuracy, etc.
  • Own the content refreshes and updates across the site - homepage, landing pages, category banners, in grid content, and other ad hoc creative asset execution on the site - to align with the global marketing calendar & priorities and promotions
  • Own the customer experience and advise customer support on key matters
  • Support the eCommerce team to help scale the customer acquisition strategy online across multiple advertising channels (Google, Bing, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) alongside digital advertising agency
  • Work with site operations & backend teams on bug-fixes to maintain high quality user experiences
  • Support implementation & testing of new tools, technologies, channels to help bring marketing strategies to life
  • Partner closely with cross functional teams and interact with all levels throughout organization including employees and outside vendors
  • Perform ongoing analysis of site traffic and key metrics such as AOV, ABS, and conversion rates
  • Continuous management of abandonment rates, load times, path to purchase obstacles, as well as regulatory compliance
  • Image optimization best practices and ability to troubleshoot deficienciesand failure points.
  • Conducting Research & Market Analysis to discover shopping/behavioral trends in an Ecommerce market space

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Demonstrated understanding and application of eCommerce and Digital Marketing best practices and KPIs
  • Skilled at being a self-starter with ability to initiate action with a high sense of urgency and follow through tasks to completion
  • Skilled with a high degree of organization, accuracy and flexibility with exceptional attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Skilled at working independently while able to partner cross-functionally with teams across different time zones and communication styles and give direction to managing partners
  • Skilled at judgment and decision making while solving complex problems and implementing solutions
  • Technical skills and knowledge such as HTML headings and meta tags, understanding of scripts, their effect and usage, understanding backend tags and their uses, robust understanding of metadata and its importance to SEO

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 1-3 years of professional eCommerce/Digital Marketing experience required including site merchandising, Google analytics, social media marketing.
  • Shopify Plus experience required
  • Klaviyo experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Photoshop experience preferred
  • Strong analytical capabilities
  • Strong sense of aesthetics
