We are seeking an Echo Technologist for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Did you get into our industry for these reasons? You will work mixed 10 hour shifts (days, evenings and weekends). Monday through Friday could be 630a to 5p or 1230p to 11p. Weekends would be the 630a to 5p.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As an EchocardiographerTechnologist (Echo Tech) you will be responsible for the direct and indirect care of patients to ensure that the quality of the studies adhere to the standards set forth by leadership. You will follow the standard format obtaining views, measurements and calculations in determining valve area and flow velocity, while maintaining equipment including cleaning and prepping for patient use.

What you will do in this role:

• You will be responsible for performing 2D/M-Mode, Doppler, Stress Echocardiograms.

• You will perform Transesophageal Echocardiograms, including processing all orders and reports.

• You will transport the patient to and from the department for testing as needed.

• You will keep accurate records for cleaning and maintaining the equipment.

What qualifications you may need:

• Registered Cardiac Sonographer required
• 
  A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required or obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

• Graduate of an accredited school of cardiovascular sonography
