Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled Echo Tech to join our healthcare team in Rolla, MO. As an Echo Tech, you will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and assisting physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac conditions. This is a contract position with the possibility of extension based on performance and organizational needs.

Responsibilities:

• Perform echocardiograms according to established protocols and standards.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and answering any questions they may have.
• Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment, ensuring its proper functionality.
• Assist physicians during procedures, providing real-time images and data for interpretation.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Echo Tech or in a similar role.
• Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) preferred.
• Proficiency in performing echocardiograms and interpreting results.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Current BLS certification required.
