RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible for the care and education of a group of children, as part of a teaching team, and functions as the team leader. The Early Learning teacher plans and implements the curriculum and works with parents to assess the needs of the individual children. This person must be able to effectively supervise other staff and volunteers assisting in the classroom, be sensitive to the needs of individual children, and relate well to both the children and adults.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
§ Must be at least 19 years of age
§ Minimum of 60 semester hours of college credit; 6 hours must be in education, child development or related field is required
§ Experience teaching, developing, and implementing curriculum for young children is preferred.
§ Proficiency in English is required.
§ Good verbal and written communication skills are required.
§ Proficient in at least one other language is helpful to translate documents and conversations for clients.
§ Must be available to start as soon as possible.
WORK HOURS
Full-time, 40 hours a week, Monday – Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm OR
from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. Full benefits package included.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.75 - $16.00 per hour
