Job Description
Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
- Paid training and Registered Behavior Technician Certification when applicable
- Modified work week schedule Monday-Friday--half day on Fridays

Qualifications
- Must have availability from 8:30am-6:00pm, Monday-Friday
- Must have one year of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) field experience
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field. Enrolled in a Master's program in ABA is preferred
- RBT certification preferred
- Must be willing to travel to outlying areas vendored by ALTA Regional Center
- Must have reliable transportation (personal vehicle), active license, and have current/active auto insurance
- Must have current vaccinations (MMR, HEP B, Tdap, Varicella) and TB test within the last year
- Must have COVID, booster, and flu vaccination annually
- Must pass DOJ/FBI live scan background clearance
- Must provide proof of physical capability including the ability to sit, stand, bend, squat, twist and lift 50 pounds
- Demonstrate work ethic, professionalism, and ethical behaviors
- Expected to work with early learners, children under three and with parents/caregivers
- Expected to work with clients who have severe behavior challenges, including aggression and self-injurious behaviors
- Expected to attend scheduled trainings, monthly meetings with supervisors and complete assignments on time
- Responsible for implementing and monitoring effective individualized treatment for Early Intervention in-home programs for assigned clients
- Work in collaboration with parents and the clinical manager to promote optimum Early Intervention Programs
- Assist with re-assessments for current clients, including assessments of client's skill deficits and behavior excesses
- Assist with goal development based on assessment data and knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis
- Implement behavior support to decrease behaviors that interfere with learning
- Discuss progress and generalization of skills with parents/caregivers
- Provide training in ABA principles to improve deficits in communication, socialization, and independence
- Provide training in ABA principles to decrease behaviors that interfere with learning
- Provide caregiver training to generalize skills across settings. Trainings will include descriptions of the interventions, modeling the interventions, and providing opportunities for parents to practice the intervention and receive feedback.
- Complete monthly case reviews of the client's progress and recommendations for troubleshooting lessons where needed
- Assist with updating quarterly progress on treatment goals
- Attend meetings with clinical supervisor, parents/caregivers, and Regional Center Service Coordinators
