Full time/part time Assistant Teacher needed for Early Learning Center for children between the ages of 6 weeks to 5 years. Flexible schedules available, up to 40 hour/week, M-F.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and 2 years experience working with children.
Preferred qualifications include high school diploma, a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or 9 credit hours in ECE from an accredited program/college and 2 years experience working with children.

Job Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Helps lead teacher facilitate learning activities including large and small group activities.
- Effective communication with parents.
- Assists teachers with positive behavior management and reinforcement.
- Ensure the safety of each child enrolled in the class.
- Assist children with diapering and toilet training when applicable.
- Work with the Lead teacher in a positive, professional manner.
- Be familiar with the daily lessons so you can help implement any/all activities.
- Perform general housekeeping duties within the classroom—wipe tables, sweep the floor, help children clean up toys and put aways in correct places.
- Supervise the group of children entrusted to your care.
