STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
The purpose of the Early Childhood Development Specialist position is to improve developmental outcomes among children served by the health center through increased developmental screening and increased access to appropriate follow-up services for children ages 0-5 years of age. Early Childhood Development Specialists will assist in addressing health equity issues associated with developmental screening and related services and apply a two-generational approach to addressing health and health related social needs for both children and their primary caregivers.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Minimum of an Associate’s degree in a related field; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
- Experience working in EARLY CHILDHOOD and/or as a case manager/care coordinator.
- Strong familiarity with local community health, education, and social services resources.

Pay: $29.00 - $36.00 per hour
