Job Goal
The Early Childhood Child Find Asssessment Teacher administer assessment for Preschool aged children,
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree
- AZ Teaching Certificate
- AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Appropriately Certified
- 3-5 years of experience teaching Early Childhood special education
- Preferred experience administering assessments to children 5 years old and under
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with parents and colleagues
- Proficient in writing and understanding IEPs
Core Job Function
- Administer initial assessments for preschool-age children
- Interpret assessments
- Complete MET reports
- Participate in screenings
- Assist with AzEIP transition meetings
- Conduct observations of students in regular education Early Childhood environments
- Provide recommendations to preschool teachers with regard to goals, implementation of IEPs, and implementation of district adopted preschool curriculum
