Job Description
- Work directly with students to support and enhance their learning within the classroom.
- Set up and clean-up activities within the classroom learning centers.
- Support children’s emotional and social growth by helping to foster a warm and nurturing environment.
- Ensure the safety of the children in the program by helping children with routines and schedules.
- Support the teachers by working with them to optimize the smooth running of the classroom.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working with young children in a group setting.
- The ability to work within a team approach.
- Skills in art, theater, music and literacy a plus.
- Positive job skills such as punctuality, dependence and reliability.
- Part-time position
- Monday - Friday
- Usual hours: 8:00AM-1:00 pm or 12:00 - 5 pm.
COMPENSATION:
Pay rate at $16 to $18 per hour.
- Documentation of U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Must pass the background check, medical form and fingerprinting through the Departments of Health and Education
